For one of our clients, an international private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a :

 

COMPLIANCE OFFICER ADVISORY

 

Job description

  • Provide seamless and responsive front line support for the business supporting their strategy and practice ensuring resolution of all compliance advisory issues across the revelant jurisdications, in conjunction with other compliance colleagues
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are comprehensive, up-to-date and understood by the employees, especially with regards to updating all local policies and procedures to incorporate changes due to regulatory, structural and systems changes, assist in the full adherence to group policy is carried out whenever possible, to assist in reviewing all FINMA and Swiss bankers Associations publications with a view to identifying relevant sections and ensuring timely and proper compliance
  • On-going involvement in preparing regular management information reports
  • Provide support at various levels to various projects and presentations and required, in coordination with the Head of Compliance
  • Compliance point of contact with Operations teams, Business Controls and Governance teams

 

Profile required

  • Degree level in Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance or other governance profession
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a private bank
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Proactive attitude and excellent relationship skills
  • Ability to provide strong leadership, people management and development skills
  • Able to demonstrate strong conflict management and influencing
  • Ability to deal with various business and operational issues and progress controversial issues with workable solutions
  • Fluent in English and French, German a plus
